Fall 2010 trends- FUR

Après l'hiver le plus froid que nous ayons jamais vécu, les créateurs ont décidé de nous garder au chaud!

Certains d'entre eux nous ont ramené à une époque où les dames avaient toutes un manteau en fourrure dans leur garde-robe. D'inspiration allant des années 20 aux années 60, la fourrure nous transforme en star des débuts d'hollywood.

Pour d'autres, la fourrure est tellement rock'n'roll! La veste est courte, et doit se porter avec un pantalon en cuir,  une coiffure excentrique ou des bottes lacées. Les rockstars et groupies n'auront plus jamais froid!

Enfin, la tendance fourrure la plus étrange de l'automne est très certainement la tendance "Bigfoot" ou "Chubaka", au choix. Avec les inquiétudes entourant les changements climatiques, le pole Nord serait-il devenu la destination de vacances "in" de cet hiver? Ou est-ce la vision des créateurs à propos d'un futur où nous aurions tous à apprendre à nous adapter à l'environnement dans lequel nous vivons?

After the coldest winter ever, designers decided to keep us warm! 

Some of them bring us back to times when every lady had a fur coat in her wardrobe. 20's to 60's inspirations, fur transforms us into early hollywood movie stars. 

Some others just wanna rock their fur. The fur coat is short, and must be worn with leather pants, fancy hair or army boots. Rock stars and groupies will never be cold again.

Eventually, the most curious fall's fur trend is definitely the "bigfoot" trend, or "Chubaka" trend (your choice). With climate changes concerns, has the north pole become a fashionable holiday destination? Or is this the designers' view of a future where we will have to learn to fit in a changing world?
