Olivier Theyskens: The other side of the picture

Alors qu'on attend impatiemment le mois de mai pour découvrir le livre biographique d'Alexander Mcqueen, nous pouvons déjà nous délecter de celui paru chez Assouline sur le créateur belge Olivier Theyskens. Olivier Theyskens: The other side of the picture est un projet développé avec le photographe français Julien Claessens et Sally Singer de Vogue. Ce choix de collaboration s'est fait naturellement, comme Olivier Theyskens l'explique: "En temps que styliste, j'ai eu beaucoup d'expériences différentes. J'ai été amené à travailler pour moi, pour des Maisons françaises, plusieurs. Julien est le seul lien entre ces histoires. (...) Il m'a accompagné à travers ma carrière". Julien Claessens a fusionné son univers sombre et mélancolique avec celui de Theyskens, offrant des clichés où le temps suspend son cours, laissant entrevoir la magie. De l'autre côté du miroir, Alice porte une majestueuse robe noire et fige le temps à travers ses smokey eyes...
